Alioune’s story

As a latecomer to the space, Alioune was first inspired to pursue documentary filmmaking after suffering a major accident, where he was hit by a reckless driver in June 2021, while biking in Brooklyn, NY. This would result in 9 major injuries and 2 lengthy surgeries, leading him to what would be a 17-month recovery process. During this time, he decided to document his journey. This added fuel to an already obsessive journey of independently learning to shoot, edit, and produce films, thus creating Arching Gold Productions.

Driven by his intellectual curiosity and passion for visual nonfiction storytelling, Alioune continues to carve out his own path by focusing on authenticity, storytelling, and delivering the vision of his clients.
